Where do all these deals come from?

We're always on the lookout for a great deal, and do our best to post as many as possible ourselves. However, this site really excels thanks to our users and their passion for saving money.

Does DeaLoco.com sell any products ?

No, we do not actually sell any of the products we list. DeaLoco.com simply aggregates the hottest deals available from reputable merchants. When you click the "Buy It" button, you are leaving DeaLoco.com and are redirected directly to the merchant's site.

Do you guarantee these are the lowest prices online?

While we can't guarantee these are the absolute lowest prices at any given time, we do offer a "Price Comparison" feature so that you can make a quick assessment of each deal. We pull price comparison data from a select group of reputable retailers to give you the most accurate calculation possible.

What the heck is Grief Factor?

Grief Factor is a quick and easy way to determine the difficulty of pulling off a deal. The scale ranges from 1 to 5 (1 is the easiest, 5 the most complicated). If you're not in the mood to fill out lengthy mail-in-rebate forms or to drive into town for a price match, stick to the "1"s and "2"s and you'll be stress free.

How do I post a deal?

Simply click the orange "Post a Deal" button on the top right of the site. If you are not yet registered on Dealoco, you will be asked to sign up first (it's free, of course!)

What deals are worthy of submission?

There's no set formula. However, a good rule of thumb is to make sure it meets the following criteria:

• Is the item in stock?
• Is it the lowest price available from a reputable seller? (Don't forget shipping costs!)
• Is it a good price compared to similar items?
• Is it from a reputable seller?
• Does anyone actually want this item?

How does a deal make the homepage?

The homepage deals are hand picked by the DeaLoco team each day. We don't have a specific criteria for selecting the deals; instead we do our best to highlight the deals we think our users would most enjoy. Please note that we NEVER give homepage preference to any of our advertisers.

Do you offer a deal alert service?

Heck yeah we do!!! We are especially proud of our RSS system. In the market for a new TV? Perform a Power Search for any specific criteria you may have. If we don't currently have the deal you are looking for, be sure to subscribe to the customized RSS feed for the search you just performed. It's as simple as clicking the RSS button on the top-right.

What other crazy features are available on DeaLoco?

Here are our personal favorites:

1. Our category filters on the home page will quickly pull back the most recent deals for a given category. This is done in real-time, and the data is constantly refreshed.

How can I determine if a deal exists for a specific product?

You can start by using our search bar (located top center). If you'd like to refine your search, check out our Power Search.

How are Forum threads created?

A new forum thread is created each time a user posts a deal via the "Post a Deal" input form. Users do not have the ability to create new threads in the general deal forums. However, users are welcome to create threads in our other forums.
